Ms. James is an advocate of the High Court of Tanzania and founding Partner of the Lyson Law Group, having over 10 years experience in the practice of law. Ms. James, an experienced litigator and corporate lawyer, specializes in all  aspects of Human Resource Law. Ms. James holds both an LL.B (Hons) and an MBA (Hons) in Human Resource Management  from Iringa University (formerly Tumaini University – Iringa University College).

Ms. James brings to the Firm a unique combination of having been an HR Manager for 5+ years as well as being a practicing advocate in the field of human resource law. Prior to founding Lyson Law , Ms. James was Deputy Head of the Labour Practice at Gabriel and Co., Attorneys at Law. Ms. James has successfully represented numerous clients before the CMA , the Labour Appeals Tribunal as well as the High Court of Tanzania.  In addition to Human Resource Law, Ms. James specializes in Human Rights Law and Immigration Law.
